DIY Project

The DIY project aims to empower women in rural areas by equipping them with practical DIY skills, fostering social connections, promoting economic independence, and challenging gender stereotypes. Through hands-on workshops and educational resources, we seek to enable women to take control of home maintenance tasks, build supportive communities, enhance their financial resilience, and contribute to greater gender equality in the DIY sector.

Our DIY project is driven by a profound motivation to empower women with practical do-it-yourself (DIY) skills, fostering confidence, independence, and community cohesion. We believe that every woman should have the opportunity to learn and excel in practical tasks, regardless of societal norms or expectations. Moreover, our project is motivated by a desire to foster a sense of community and intergenerational learning. Byengaging in DIY workshops, women not only acquire practical skills but also build friendships, strengthen social ties, andpass on their knowledge to others, promoting community building and resilience. Financial empowerment is another key motivation for our project. By teaching women how to tackle basic homemaintenance tasks themselves, we aim to help them save money and reduce reliance on external services.
